What search options do I have?
We have employed a very powerful yet easy to use search function into our
photo database. Key features include:
Search from page header:
-
Search entire database (and,
or, & phrase)
-
Search in category only (and,
or, & phrase)
Search from photo detail page:
-
Click any keyword or
location name to automatically search on that word
-
"Show Similar" loose search
function
How do I search the entire database?
Type in your search word(s) in the search box, select "and", "or"
or "phrase". Make sure "- All Categories" is selected in the
category drop-down box. See examples below.

How do I do an automatic search by keyword or location?
On the photo detail pages, there is a table called "IPTC INFO". Any
underlined word listed in "Keywords", "Location Name", "Neighborhood"
or "City or Town" can be clicked and an automatic full database search is
performed on that word. See example below.

How do I do a loose search for similar photos?
At the bottom of every photo detail page is a "Show Similar" link.
Clicking this will perform a search for photos that have any keyword in common.
This type of search will provide a lot of results, and may not be specific
enough to be very useful. See example below.
